The transition to New Energy is generating more and more investment opportunities than ever. Because New Energy M&A are often in areas which are either adjacent to the existing business, or completely new to it, the acquiring company will frequently need to build new capabilities and acquire new skill sets. This is where getting a grasp of culture is critical. To explore the role of culture in new energy and the critical part it has to play, we interviewed senior decision makers at both acquiring and acquired organisations. Security leaders have been in front of boards and executive committees long enough to know that security metrics that simply portray statistics from monitoring tools, or count the number of malware attacks, add relatively little value to strategy and budget decisions. Protecting sensitive customer and company data shouldn’t be just a compliance obligation, it should be a business imperative. This is exactly why the right technology partners will help push security, risk, and compliance objectives forward. In March 2019, Dell commissioned Forrester Consulting to evaluate the evolving security trends and technology needed to protect and enable employees. Our study found that empowering employees while adhering to security protocols improves employee productivity. Forrester conducted an online survey of 887 senior business and IT decision makers to explore this topic. Learn more about Dell solutions powered by Intel®.

When large enterprises are faced with digital transformation and customer-facing initiatives; too often, IT and marketing fail to collaborate well enough to create a competitive advantage. Or even enough to keep up with competitors. This whitepaper takes a deep dive into the CIO-CMO relationship. It was created to help marketing and IT decision makers learn how, together, they can make a realistic and immediate impact on the customer journey.

The digital era has ushered in a proliferation of data that powers modern businesses. When leveraged properly, organizations are seeing the potential of data to drive better outcomes across all aspects of their business. Using data to support different workflows, analytics, and activities transforms it into data capital — a digital asset that will drive value for the business. The extent to which an enterprise aligns its organization around this data capital mindset — in both the way they use data and the way they invest in data technology — can have lasting impacts on the success of the business. In February 2019, Dell EMC and Intel commissioned Forrester Consulting to evaluate whether the ability to harness and apply data and analytics at every opportunity is fast becoming a prerequisite for success. To test this, Forrester conducted a global survey of 516 IT decision makers. The survey found that companies with more mature data capital practices — leveraging more data types, managin

As the number and variety of threats mushroom, an Ovum survey has found that security teams have become physically unable to respond in an appropriate way to the ones that actually matter, with 50% of respondents saying they deal with more than 50 alerts each day. Shockingly, for 6% of organizations, that figure rises to between 100 and 1,000 threats a day. The solution? Ovum believes that security decision-makers should invest in centralized management capabilities, enabling them to control the disparate security tools in their infrastructure, and address the challenge of prioritizing the volumes of daily alerts they receive. Download this report to find out what else Ovum has discovered about security practices in Asia Pacific.
