In this eBook, we’ll make the case for why you need to rethink DNS from several different and important perspectives. The first is to rethink your DNS choices. Choices around solutions, vendors and configurations that were made several years ago may no longer be optimal in today’s environment. The second is to rethink the importance of DNS for building digital resilience, including the need for a secondary DNS configuration. The third is to rethink the value of DNS as it has evolved to be so much more than simple domain name resolution. Modern DNS with intelligent response capabilities continues to open up new opportunities for traffic steering across hybrid resources.

The growth of virtualization has fundamentally changed the data center and raised numerous questions about data security and privacy. In fact, security concerns are the largest barrier to cloud adoption. Read this e-Book and learn how to protect sensitive data and demonstrate compliance.
Virtualization is the creation of a logical rather than an actual physical version of something. such as a storage device, hardware platform, operating system, database or network resource. The usual goal of virtualization is to centralize administrative tasks while improving resilience, scalability and performance and lowering costs. Virtualization is part of an overall trend in enterprise IT towards autonomic computing, a scenario in which the IT environment will be able to manage itself based on an activity or set of activities. This means organizations use or pay for computing resources only as they need them.
Business expectations and demands on the data center are increasing and the impact on today’s data centers is staggering.
Organisations that can move quickly to leverage these new opportunities will find themselves in an advantageous position relative to their competitors. But time is NOT on your side! If your IT team often feel that they’re always in catch-up mode because it is difficult to quantify IT contributions, it is time to understand the benefit of hyperconverged infrastructure.
Download this premium guide to understand how HCI can
• Provide the resilience, scalability and performance to run all your applications without compromise.
• Design the data center as a fluid resource that can immediately adapt to the evolving needs of the business.
• Enable agility with scale-out architecture that eliminates the need to rip and replace for seamless growth and scale.

On the 13th February 2017, the Privacy Amendment (Notifiable Data Breaches) Act was passed in the Australian Parliament, introducing a mandatory notification regime. This bill commences on the 23rd February 2018 and will require organisations to notify data subjects and regulators in the event of an “eligible” data breach.
Mimecast’s proven portfolio of cloud-based, security and cyber resilience services for email can be a vital component of any organisation’s Notifiable Data Breaches compliance strategy
For most financial institutions, it’s no longer a question of ‘if’ but ‘when’ they’ll be attacked..
If you’re like most financial institutions, you have controls that identify breaches, but need proper procedures that’ll enable you to recover from such an event. In this presentation at the CUNA Technology Council Conference, Tom Neclerio, BAE Systems’ VP of Cyber Consulting Services, discusses the current threats across the financial marketplace and explores strategies for implementing a successful incident response program as outlined in the FFIEC’s cyber resilience guidance.
"Nearly all (89%) organizations report experiencing an internet disruption in the past year. Over a third of them said it was ""crippling"" to their business. With a diversified network and the volatility of the internet on the rise, it’s time to understand where your infrastructure is most at risk and how can you build for resilience. This 2017 Spiceworks Research Report gets to the heart of the matter.

The Ponemon Institute and IBM Resilient are pleased to release the findings of the third annual study on the importance of cyber resilience for a strong security posture. The key takeaway from this year’s research is that organizations globally continue to struggle with responding to cybersecurity incidents. Lack of formal incident response plans and insufficient budgets were reported as the main causes of this challenge.
The energy landscape has become increasingly complex. Globally, we’re relying less on centralized, steady power sources – such as gas-fired and coal-fired power stations – and more on mixed, locally-distributed renewable energy supplies including solar, wind, tidal and battery. While this is positive for the environment and carbon emissions, it makes balancing power grids a much more complex task. Power quality and reliability becomes more variable in output, while demand for power continues to increase steadily. But when it comes to energy resilience, many organizations simply don’t know where to start. What solutions are available? Which are the best ones for their specific situation and physical premises? What will be their return on investment? Is it simply the cost of doing business, or is there actually a business case? The guide will give you the tools and data to build your understanding and quantify the benefit for your organization.
We live in an era of increased business risk and while news headlines focus on threats to business such as cyber-crime and global terrorism, there is a more pervasive and immediate issue in the form of security and continuity of the energy supply of every business.
It's demanding times for businesses. Facing risks as diverse as extreme weather and cyber-attacks, ?rms are focusing more intently on business continuity plans. At the same time, the digital revolution is changing lifestyles, disrupting business models and acting as a catalyst for change. Energy itself is undergoing a transformation, as generation moves towards renewables and decentralization, while technological advances present new opportunities. Energy now has the potential to deliver competitive advantage, to enhance sustainability and resilience, and to power innovative business models. But equally, the range of new options available is making the management of energy more complex. Read this thought leadership paper to find out how energy can drive your business strategy.

Learn how a security rationalization process helps CISOs optimize your security infrastructure while improving the bottom line. Development velocity is accelerating as enterprises adopt DevOps methodologies, yet security is still not integrated into the coding and deployment processes. Security teams are falling further behind as their manual processes and controls can’t scale at the same rate as development. This paper discusses:
The impact the current approach to application security has on business
How shifting security left in the application development process, seamlessly integrating it “early and often,” can accelerate innovation
Questions the Board and C-suite are now asking about security: are you prepared?
Read this paper to learn how, by shifting security left in the development process, it’s now no longer an obstacle to velocity, innovation and competitiveness. Instead, it’s an asset.
Committed to advancing brain research, The Dana Foundation needed to transition to the cloud to drive efficiency and more effectively manage risk. With this shift, Dana moved from waterfall development to DevOps but still needed to maintain its strict security posture. In this case study Jim Rutt, CIO of The Dana Foundation, discusses his use of the CYBRIC continuous application security platform to move to DevOps, embedding security earlier in the development process and gaining full security visibility across the SDLC.
How a security rationalization process helps CISOs optimize your security infrastructure while improving the bottom line. Whether you’ve over-invested in security tools, under-invested, don’t know the extent of your security capabilities or you’re facing new regulations that require you to demonstrate and continually maintain compliance — there is a path forward. To understand and optimize what you have in place, as well as gaps you may have, develop a security rationalization process to calculate the return on your security investments.
Read this paper to learn the five steps needed to get started.
