Application owners and DevOps teams want to build in AWS without compromising security, but often lack the tools to keep sensitive data secure. During Pacific Dental’s move to Amazon Web Services (AWS), the company sought to enhance and operationalize its security measures to match the speed and scale of the cloud, using a cloud access security broker (CASB) to proactively address misconfiguration and risk to their data.
Register for our webinar to learn how Pacific Dental leveraged McAfee’s CASB solution, McAfee MVISION Cloud, to address these challenges and fulfill their security responsibility.

Security was once largely limited to the confines of an on-premises world, but now it must extend to the cloud, as well as a myriad of mobile devices.
Employees and companies now expect increasingly complex interactions with devices, apps, data, and even other users. As many companies struggle to keep up with traditional single-point solutions, and limited budgets, this pressure is creating security blind spots for IT.
In a world of evolving threats, it is becoming increasingly impossible to address all of these issues with an on-premises solution.
What is needed is a holistic approach to identity-driven security—one that leverages a cloud-scale intelligent security graph to help you protect your business.
In this vision whitepaper, we look into some of the challenges facing IT in the modern world and examine the possible solutions.
"To remain competitive, organizations need to innovate their practices. But what are the infrastructure, best practices and technologies that lead to successful hybrid IT?
Forrester Consulting evaluated IT decision makers leading their organizations through digital transformation to explore the technologies used, challenges experienced, and benefits gained from their hybrid IT models.
See how other IT leaders are gaining speed and agility while reducing friction through composability and continuous delivery. "
"Customers in the midst of digital transformation look first to the public cloud when seeking dramatic simplification, cost, utilization and flexibility advantages for their new
application workloads. But using public cloud comes with its own challenges. It’s not always possible or practical for enterprises to retire their traditional, on-premises enterprise system still running the company’s most mission-
critical workloads. Hybrid IT – a balanced combination of traditional infrastructure, private cloud and public cloud – is the answer. But a true hybrid IT deployment must go well beyond the current generation of hybrid cloud systems, where the on-premises
and off-premises worlds have largely remained siloed and still have to be independently managed. This paper
seeks to answer how to bring those siloes together by identifying eight essentials that must be met to achieve the ideal hybrid IT implementation."
Regardless of whether your data resides on-premises, in the cloud, or a
combination of both, you are vulnerable to security threats, data breaches,
data loss, and more. Security is often cited as a concern for organizations
who are migrating to the public cloud, but the belief that the public cloud
is not secure is a myth. In fact, the leading public cloud service providers
have built rigorous security capabilities to ensure that your applications,
assets, and services are protected. Security in the public cloud is now
becoming a driver for many organizations, but in a rapidly evolving
multicloud environment, you must keep up with changes that might
impact your security posture.

When call center agents don’t have access to an EMR, consumer demographic, sociological and other data, nor an understanding of marketing campaigns, agents are inefficient, reactive and unable to personalize interactions with patients and consumers. The disjointed call center experience harms the health system’s ability to find, guide, and keep patients for life.
The call center is often the first touch for many prospective healthcare customers, and Scripps Health recognized these challenges. They made the pivot from call center as cost center to strategic lynch pin in their patient experience strategy. Call center agents are now delivering a world-class patient experience as they provide physician referrals, take class registrations, and serve as a clearing house for general information . An added bonus of the shift is they can now integrate outbound calling into campaign efforts, and measure the full impact of marketing efforts and strengthen marketing’s ROI.

Enterprise mobility management suites enable organizations to integrate and manage mobile devices in their IT infrastructures. End-user computing leaders must act amid rapid market changes to reach both short-term and long-term enterprise mobility objectives.
UEM is not limited to PCs, tablets and smartphones. Smart devices, broadly grouped as part of the IoT, will increasingly become included in UEM. Devices such as Apple TVs, printers and smartwatches are identifiable examples of IoT devices managed by EMM tools. However, not all IoT objects will fall under the realm of EMM tools. Some devices may be managed directly by manufacturers. Other types of devices will have proprietary management tools. And many devices will not need to be managed at all. However, it is clear that the diversity and number of devices will continue to grow, and IT organizations must be ready.

One of the biggest challenges to effectively stopping breaches lies in sifting through vast amounts of data to find the subtle clues that indicate an attack is imminent or underway. As modern computer systems generate billions of events daily, the amount of data to analyze can reach petabytes. Compounding the problem, the data is often unstructured, discrete and disconnected. As a result, organizations struggle to determine how individual events may be connected to signal an impending attack.

It is becoming increasingly more obvious that for data to have any real value, it must be in motion. It must flow. “All entities move” Heraclitus added, “and nothing remains still.” These ancient musings have startling relevance to the modern challenges and benefits of Master Data Management (MDM) programs across global enterprises. The entities he referred to were more philosophical in nature, yet it is no coincidence that the entities of our commercial world – customers, vendors, prospects and the relationship between them – are in a constant state of movement and change.
