Most brands would love to have their apps among the top 25 most downloaded apps on the Apple App Store or Google Play. With more than one million apps available, there’s a great risk that your app won’t stand out from the crowd. Marketers need to make sure their core target audiences will first download and then regularly use their apps, without spending huge promotion budgets. This report will analyze how consumers discover apps and will provide some guidelines on how to promote your apps.
study by UPS and comScore found that 53% of shoppers who don’t use
retailers’ mobile apps state it’s because they like using the website better.
These shoppers see no benefit from installing these apps, as they provide
an inferior experience with no added benefits. Looking at the Apple and
Google Play App Stores, a large amount of retailers have apps with very
few reviews, and some don’t even have a mobile app.
Another problem is the performance of retail apps. 61% consumers expect
an app to load in under 4 seconds according to research by Dynatrace. In
its study, only one retailer made it under that threshold.
And that is just purely opening the app. What is the
experience once consumers get past that point?

To bolster consumer trust in the foundation of ecommerce before it was irreparably damaged, several CAs and browser vendors came together to establish a higher security approach based on common standards: Extended Validation SSL certificates.
EV SSL is universally supported by all desktop browsers and provides an EV trust indication. All mobile browsers support EV SSL and some provide an EV indication.
Extended Validation SSL certificates have the highest impact on consumers, reassuring them that the site they are visiting is legitimate through visual cues in un-modifiable parts of the browser interface “chrome.”
For example, the latest versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Apple Safari display the corporate name with a green background for sites protected by an Extended Validation SSL certificate.

This white paper summarizes recent studies that demonstrate the value of online display advertising, and how search and display advertising used together can drive sales more effectively than either channel by itself.
Paid search marketing has come a long way from keyword searches. Thanks to advances in technology, brands are shifting from targeting keywords to targeting people at key moments. Additionally, Google recently made significant changes to its search engine results pages. Right-rail ads have vanished and Google Shopping ad units are displayed more prominently on mobile. Other innovative changes are also on the horizon.
In this e-book, we identify six key areas of paid search advertising that are positioned to upend the marketing landscape and offer suggestions for how to take advantage of those trends.

The APM market is one of the largest subsegments of the IT operations management market, with 2016 revenue of approximately $3.7 billion and a growth rate exceeding 18% over the prior year. Given these statistics, it is no surprise that Gartner observes continuing investment. Interestingly, while Gartner has observed many new startups appearing on the radar screen, we've also seen large software organizations such as CA Technologies, IBM, Oracle and Microsoft (re)investing at the same time. Other non-APM companies are also expressing potential interest in the market — almost all of the current APM suite providers expect to see companies like Google and Amazon boost their primarily infrastructure monitoring capabilities with increased support for application visibility. Yet these (and other large) cloud companies will pose another challenge for the traditional APM players — the battle for talent acquisition. There is some concern within the APM market that highly skilled individuals may
