The Mimecast Supervision solution enables compliance personnel to

To reduce the number of false positives in sampling data, targeted
detection rules can focus on specific senders/recipients and to
accelerate the process. In addition, queues can be configured with an
upper limit upon which to be populated with email. This helps limit the
amount of email a reviewer must go through while still identifying risk.
Today’s supervision demands require reviewers to be highly productive.
The term “Cloud First” was initially popularized by Vivek Kundra, who formerly held the post of White House CIO and launched this strategy for U.S. federal government IT modernization at the Cloud Security Alliance Summit 2011. The underlying philosophy of the cloud-first strategy is that organizations must initially evaluate the suitability of cloud computing to address emergent business requirements before other alternatives are considered.

AlchemyAPI’s approach to natural language processing incorporates both linguistic and statistical analysis techniques into a single unified system. This hybrid approach provides an industry-leading advantage since both techniques have benefits and drawbacks depending on the content and specific usecases. Linguistic analysis takes a basic grammatical approach to understand how words combine into phrases, and how those phrases combine into sentences. While this approach works well with editorialized text (e.g., news articles and press releases), it does not perform as well when it comes to usergenerated content, often filled with slang, misspellings and idioms. Statistical analysis, however, understands language from a mathematical standpoint and works well on “noisy” content (e.g., tweets, blog posts, and Facebook status updates). The combination of these two approaches allows for increased accuracy on a variety of content.

According to industry experts, organizations that systematically manage the life cycle of their IT assets will reduce the cost per asset by as much as 30% in the first year alone. Yet today, many organizations have little or no insight into exactly what assets they own, let alone how they can optimize assets throughout their life cycle, from requisition to disposal. The same holds true for major IT investments.
For many years, traditional businesses have had a systematic set of processes and practices for deploying, operating and disposing of tangible assets and some forms of intangible asset. Through significant growth in our inquiry discussions with clients, and in observing increased attention from industry regulators, Gartner now sees the recognition that information is an asset becoming increasingly pervasive. At the same time, CDOs and other data and analytics leaders must take into account both internally generated datasets and exogenous sources, such as data from partners, open data and content from data brokers and analytics marketplaces, as they come to terms with the ever-increasing quantity and complexity of information assets. This task is clearly impossible if the organization lacks a clear view of what data is available, how to access it, its fitness for purpose in the contexts in which it is needed, and who is responsible for it.
Making predictions is a risky activity. Making predictions in the utility industry can be perilous. History is filled with missed or prematurely exuberant pronouncements of the future of utilities and energy.
