In this white paper, we will discuss the following key topics so that your data centre operates more efficiently and cost-effectively:
• Growing energy utilisation
• Creating cooling efficiencies
• Enabling efficiency best practices
Furthermore, we will look at great ways to overcome cooling, energy and even design challenges.
This paper proposes standard terminology for categorizing the types of prefabricated modular data centers, defines and compares their key attributes, and provides a framework for choosing the best approach(es) based on business requirements.
In this paper, we focus on quantifying the capital cost differences of a prefabricated vs. traditional 440 kW data center, both built with the same power and cooling architecture, in order to highlight the key cost drivers, and to demonstrate that prefabrication does not come
at a capex premium.
This White Paper goes some way to finding a solution to your Data Center security problems. Citrix Netscaler, is the latest application delivery controller for building enterprise cloud networks.

Whether it’s for business or education, entertainment or shopping, nearly every financial transaction, phone call or text, movie download or Internet search either now takes place or is recorded in a data center. With nearly everyone’s professional and personal lives dependent upon a healthy ecosystem of data centers, it is only natural that data centers are now targeted by thieves, spies and others maliciously seeking to cause damage or to steal the information contained within a data center.

Faster, denser technology is driving costs, and the right high performance cabling is needed to provide stability in the data center. Unsuitable infrastructure can become an expensive problem, delaying necessary upgrades and creating other potential obstacles needed to stay competitive. This report contains the four best practices needed to achieve a high performance, future-ready structured cabling solution for a data center.

Efficiency is a key objective when designing a data center. Efficiency
gains are typically focused completely on power and cooling. Efficiencies can be realized in many other areas resulting in additional cost savings, reliable network performance, easier maintenance, flexibility, and scalability.
It has been obvious for some time that the power distribution system within the data center is the key opportunity to focus upon in order to actively manage the rising costs of power and more specifically, identify problems and waste in real-time.
With future-thinking organizations sharing knowledge between Facilities and IT, the push for more intelligence within this rack-based power infrastructure has become urgent with higher rack power densities. In fact, proactive power management at all stages in the distribution chain within enterprise data centers has become the requirement to feed efficiency studies and data center infrastructure management (DCIM) style optimization initiatives.
To out-innovate and out-pace their competition, organizations must be on a consistent path to keep their infrastructure
modern. IT is under constant pressure to deliver optimized infrastructure for new business initiatives and supporting
applications all while trying to contain or even reduce costs. In fact, respondents to ESG’s ongoing research consistently
cite cost reduction as one of the top business drivers affecting their IT spending. When asked in a research survey how
their organizations intended to contain costs in 2017, 27% of respondents said that they would be purchasing new
technologies with better ROI.

We are in the midst of a global productivity crisis. The IMF estimates that if productivity growth had followed its pre-2008 financial crisis trend, overall GDP in advanced economies would be about 5% higher today. However, to blame everything on the financial crisis is misleading. The overall trend in productivity growth is stagnant and has been on a downward trend for the last several years.
This is costing the U.S. a staggering $450–$550 billion a year. In the U.K., concern is such that there have been calls for the government to set new targets and create an independent watchdog to monitor progress to improve national productivity.
There is also a workforce engagement crisis. Most people are simply not engaged at work, with industry research showing that typically 66% of people are either partly or not engaged at all at work. This means that only 1 in 3 people at work are fully motivated and productive.
Yet most companies are oblivious to this fact. Some run annual emplo

Upgrades, upgrades, upgrades. Everyone is making them and so you ask yourself: Should your business upgrade systems, too? It seems like there’s always a newer version or better software out there. Yet while implementing new and improved systems can help your business scale and save your company money, it’s important to know whether new software is worth the transition.
Zendesk recently commissioned Forrester Consulting to conduct a study that evaluated the financial impact of Zendesk on organizations. Forrester interviewed five customers and conducted a financial analysis. In this study, Forrester lays out the benefits and costs of Zendesk’s family of customer service products, with the analysis pointing to benefits of more than $3.8 million.

IT Transformation is a concept that resonates with companies even more now than it did 12 months ago. It sounds like another current term, “digital transformation.” But in fact, effective digital transformation doesn’t happen without IT Transformation.
A company that undergoes IT infrastructure transformation no longer has to rely on rigid, manual, siloed, legacy technologies. It sees a boost in IT operational speed, efficiency, scale, and cost effectiveness—tasks are automated, processes streamlined, and resources are freed up. Those IT-level improvements fuel a larger-scale digital transformation, allowing the company to thrive in today’s digital economy. It is able to out-innovate, out-think, and out-pace its competitors—ultimately becoming the disruptor, not the disrupted.

Email marketers have always dreaded the unsubscribe, and at the cost of nearly $18 or more per unsubscribe depending on your average order value, it’s clear why. Altogether, the cost of an unsubscribe -- in terms of lost revenue potential and associated soft costs — is nothing to blink at. Fortunately, there are several steps you can take to decrease your unsubscribe rate and recover some of that otherwise lost revenue.
