A group of emerging technologies is rapidly creating numerous opportunities for life sciences companies to improve productivity, enhance patient care and ensure regulatory compliance. These technologies include robotic process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), blockchain, the Internet of Things (IoT), 3-D printing and augmented reality/ virtual reality (AR/ VR). This whitepaper presents a preview of five pivotal technology trends remaking the life sciences industry: AI and automation, human augmentation, edge analytics/ processing, data ownership and protection, and the intermingling of products and services.
Organizations undergoing digital transformations are dealing with amplified concerns around risk and security, which isn’t surprising.
Ensuring visibility and accountability for compliance, security and governance while enabling flexibility for digital transformation requires a fresh and more tightly aligned approach to who—and now what in the form of applications, services, machines and things—are given the keys to the kingdom: privileged access.
Read this white paper to understand how the digital transformation journey requires thinking through a clear roadmap that spans multiple years, anticipating near- and long-term requirements from a privileged access management solution and ensuring scope and scale needs at a reasonable cost of ownership through the entire lifecycle.
Download this white paper to see how PST Enterprise enables corporate IT to regain control of distributed corporate email found in PST files to manage compliance, support discovery and minimize risk associated with this data. It enables full discovery of all PST files, regardless of their location or status, and it provides the information needed to take intelligent action on the data within. Such actions include owner determination, in-place retention, data migration, and file copy, move, disconnect and deletion.

When compliance managers think about the good old days, they do not have to look back too far. In fact, prior to 2008, the world was a much simpler place: the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) published a list of sanctioned companies and individuals, and as long as their company was not doing business with any person on that list, they seemed to be in good shape. This was definitely not an easy task. However, after 2008, it became more complicated when OFAC guidance stated that an ownership interest of 50% or more by a sanctioned subject was blocked or otherwise limited.
Linux reliability has come of age. Several major Linux distributions including Novell SUSE, Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu scored high in reliability, improved over 2006 uptime statistics and achieved near parity with Unix distributions. Security incidents plagued Windows Server 2003, which saw uptime decrease by roughly 10% during last year. Corporations must continue to adhere to best practices in configuration, management and security to ensure optimal server operating system and application reliability.
Tripwire Enterprise combines real-time change detection, comprehensive configuration auditing, continuous policy compliance management, and rapid configuration remediation in a single solution. By integrating these Tripwire solutions, you can correlate all suspicious events with changes to take control of threats across all events and changes.
This strategic view is the proverbial "gold" that can be mined from your data protection systems; it is the asset that will enable IT management to prioritize activity to bring activities in line with business objectives and communicate policy compliance to corporate officers and data owners.
